These are fantastic pictures. Your mom and your aunt look like twins. Marina, you look so happy. What a special picture of you on the couch with your dad's arm around you. Very touching. What a gift of mercy to go 13 hours so that the grandparents could have some joy and memories. Ellen
OK, alllll done catching up. It sounds like you had a wonderfully rich time. :) The photos and videos were great. Something we would like to know...besides the "plumber" bit, how did Ryan do with his Russian?
Ryan would tell you his Russian is non-existent, but that's not true. He knows most animal names and sounds almost as well as Elijah :) And I would say, if you want to discuss literature with Ryan in Russian - good luck! But he understands by far more than he can say, so sharing secrets in Russian in his presence is not something you want to do :)
